The ProCont™ development
The main curiosity of our development is that, based on transactional data related to a project created by organizations, an artificial intelligence-based database is built in the background that can support the monitoring and evaluation of future projects using in-depth learning algorithms.
Numerous market observations and business feedback have demonstrated the need for a solution that helps optimize and control projects that are often run in parallel. This is why a team of experts from Techwave and IFUA has begun to think of a possible tool that can be used by everyone, regardless of their corporate governance system.
Techwave will develop the development in the development environment of SAP, one of the world's leading ERP systems, and will offer it as a cloud-based solution.
The development has started with a research
Due to their complexity, today's large organizations - be they market-based economic organizations, state bodies, or even educational institutions - require them to carry out some of their activities in a well-defined way, organized within the framework of projects.
Activities organized into projects can be tasks not related to the day-to-day operations of the company that require special knowledge or participants, but it is possible for an organization working in an ever-changing environment to serve a variety of clients to organize almost all of its core activities around projects. In order for projects to be implemented effectively, it is essential that the organizations are able to plan, implement and then measure the results well - ineffective resulting in a disadvantage for those who do not pay enough attention. IFUA Horváth & PartnersKft. the Techwave Hungary Zrt together in Budapest Corvinus With the help of the Department of Management and Control of the University, it was followed by an extensive research on how Hungarian organizations manage their projects, their risks and controlling.
Our 7 initial assumption
Our research was largely based on a comprehensive exploration of the domestic and international literature, on the basis of which our experts established 7 assumptions, on the basis of which, to prove or refute them, they conducted their research first with an extensive questionnaire and then with in-depth professional interviews.
Our seven starting assumptions are:
When projects are launched, the definition of goals and frameworks (time, cost, resource) is not properly recorded, making it difficult to evaluate real performance during re-measurements.
Projects do not collect enough objective data during their operation, a large number naturalness, which would provide an opportunity for a credible examination of the status of the project.
Projects are planned, but their continuous monitoring and monitoring is given less emphasis in the organizations.
Ex-post evaluation of projects is often lacking in the organizations surveyed.
Predictive forecasts are typically not used in the analysis of project implementation.
Because of the previous hypothesis, organizations lose opportunities to intervene that would significantly contribute to the success of projects.
In analyzing the entire life cycle of projects, institutions rely solely on the experience of their own projects; today, they do not have the opportunity to analyze other factors influencing project results (benchmark database) that could contribute to achieving the optimum of the project.
Research method
Questionnaire inquiry
Our questionnaire was completed by a total of 55 Hungarian institutions, of which 27 respondents were finally included in our research after synthesizing the responses received. Of the respondents processed in the research, 21 were market-based companies, 5 were organizations maintained by foundations, and one was a budgetary institution. In terms of sectors, manufacturing companies, technology companies, higher education institutions and construction companies stood out.
In-depth interviews
Based on our assumptions based on preliminary expert opinions, we compiled our questions during in-depth interviews. Our interviews focused on senior executives from higher education institutions, budget institutions and large corporations. A total of 14 interviews were conducted, of which 7 were with information technology service providers, home appliance manufacturers, automotive suppliers and pharmaceutical companies, among others, and 7 with public service managers.
Summary
The Procont development is using a comprehensive picture and optimization the leaders of business organizations and institutions can get suggestions about their current projects.
THE Techwave with the solution, it also plans to find international companies, the market preparation of which is partly the task of the current project. In the future, however, in the interests of efficiency, it will make its presence in foreign markets with the help of internationally renowned experts.
